Ah, yes, the Gottlieb System-3 machines. The more I work with them, the more I appreciate how well made these machines are.

One of the few common failure points is the volume adjustment pot on the MA-1851 boards. The originals needed a screwdriver to adjust, and after a couple decades have developed some pretty bad dead spots. That and the originals are getting harder and harder to find, while potentially having the same oxidized volume control.

So I made one of my own! Every part is new production, including that all-critical volume pot, which has the same resistance curve as the original, except my version you can adjust without tools.
